Maggie Osborne
Maggie is a graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University’s Bachelor of Applied Arts in Child and Youth Studies program and also holds a Bachelor of Education degree from St. Francis Xavier University. With over twenty-five years of experience across a variety of roles within the childcare and human services field, Maggie brings both depth of knowledge and strong leadership to her work.
Her education and professional background include specialized experience supporting children with diverse learning needs, including speech and language delays, developmental disabilities, and complex developmental profiles.
Throughout her career, Maggie has served as an educator, colleague, and director within licensed childcare centres, giving her a well-rounded understanding of high-quality early learning environments and the diverse needs of children, families, and staff.
Maggie has been a dedicated member of Willowbrae Academy since 2013. Under her leadership, her academy has been recognized with the Academy of the Year award twice, as well as Director of the year, reflecting her commitment to excellence, team development, and strong community relationships. Maggie’s ability to inspire and lead, combined with her passion for early childhood education, continues to drive the delivery of outstanding programming for the families she serves.
